Now tracking Barriere Poker and the iPoker.fr network

SharkScope has now added coverage of both Barriere Poker and the iPoker.fr networks, bringing the current total tracked to seven French networks since online poker licensing commenced in France in early July.

iPoker.fr is a network consisting of a number of skins including Titan.fr and ChiliPoker.fr.

Barriere and iPoker.fr customers can now enjoy up-to-the-minute poker results on more than 99% of all games played, along with tournament searching and SharkScope’s innovative “Tournament Selector” functionality.

SharkScope HUD Enhancements

In the recent release of the SharkScope HUD we’ve made a number of enhancements that have been requested by users. The most important change is that the latest HUD now fully uses the new SharkScope API which means it now has access to all the 30+ statistics that you can view on the main website.

The change also means that all types of advanced filters created on the site are supported where as previously only a subset could be used and all player classes created on the site will now appear as icons in the HUD overlays (instead of having to configure classes separately in the HUD).

Other improvements include the option of the statistics overlays configured to use multiple lines,

the ability to configure color rules based on any of the 30+ plus statistics

and improved graphs that also link directly to the player on the SharkScope website when clicked.

New Advanced Search Filter and Vs Player Preferences

Based on feedback from users we’ve just added a couple of new features. Firstly we’ve added a Day of the Week Advanced Search filter. This allows you to filter you results based on the day (or days) of the week that the tournament finished on. It uses the timezone that your computer is set to in the same way as other date based functionality.

The 2nd feature change is the option to specify which of your player name trigger the Vs Me functionality. Vs Me is the feature that when you search a blocked player, automatically searches games you have played against that player and shows results from those specific games. You can now turn this off using a check box in the Manage Personal Player Names page.

In some cases turning off this option can speed up search performance.

FullTilt Tracking Fully Resumes

We are happy to announce that FullTilt is now fully supported on SharkScope again. We worked hard with FullTilt to create an opt in/out system that works within their rules and this system is now available for use.

By default all FullTilt player statistics that come from tournaments with less than 30 players are hidden until the player opts in. Opting in and out is now a very simply process of clicking a special link that automatically opens the SharkScope Optin table and typing either optin or optout in the chat box.

Go to the following pages to click the link:

FullTilt-Opt-In

FullTilt-Opt-Out

We have also worked with FullTilt to make sure we could retrieve as many tournaments as possible that were missed since the FullTilt relaunch. The result of this is that we now have virtually all scheduled tournaments in our database, but unfortunately there is no way to get the results for any missed SNGs during that period.

Tournament Selector adds Scheduled Tournaments for all major Networks

We initially added support for Scheduled tournaments in the tournament Selector for the PokerStars family of networks, but we now extended that support to all major networks.

On most networks you can now:

View upcoming Scheduled tournaments and Freerolls
View difficulty ratings of any type of tournament not matter what its size
Search for any registering or running tournament by id, and not have to type all the player names into a search box.

Enhanced Favourite Games feature added

We have now added a new Favourite Games feature to the new SharkScope website. This feature shows a break down summary of the different types of games played by the player, based on the search filter you used.

Whilst it is similar to the Favourite Games feature on the old site it contains a number of enhancements:

  • The table now includes the overall profit for each game type
  • Scheduled and SNGs are shown in the same table
  • The feature is now “Subscriber Only” but no longer costs a search
  • The data is always shown instantly
  • You can click on any row to see the full statistics for those games

Emergency Hardware Maintenance

Unfortunately we are having hardware problems with one of our database servers at the moment that is dramatically effecting the speed of PokerStars searches. So to keep as much functionality up and running as possible we have temporarily disabled some features, such as searching on the old site and using the HUD with PokerStars until we can get the problem solved.

We’re very sorry for the inconvenience caused and please be sure that we working flat out to get this resolved.

Tournament Selector adds Scheduled Tournaments

Now that the release of the new SharkScope website is out of the way we will be launching a number of new features that take advantage of the new sites capabilities. The first of these new features is the addition of large SNG’s and Scheduled tournaments to the Tournament Selector. Initially this support is for PokerStars, PokerStars.fr, PokerStars.es and PokerStars.it but we will be progressively rolling it out on all networks.

You can now:

  • View upcoming Scheduled tournaments and Freerolls
  • View difficulty ratings of any type of tournament not matter what its size
  • Search for any registering or running tournament by id, and not have to type all the player names into a search box.

SharkScope HUD adds Winamax support

The latest version of the SharkScope HUD now has support for the Winamax.fr network, allowing players on this network to have player statistics automatically placed directly on the table you are playing at.

Whilst we have tested it as thoroughly as we can, this is initially a beta release, so please let us know if you experience any issues and we’ll do our best to get anything fixed quickly.

Improved IGT tracking

SharkScope has improved its coverage of the IGT (formally Entraction) network by tracking a higher percentage of games and covering more skins. The Tournament Selector is also now supported and so for the first time players can find the easiest game to enter, on this popular network, and track tournaments in the Registering and Running phases.
